We recognize the work it takes to make it to the gym and back to home or job after. We know what you’re going through in some shape or form on the day to day. Our goal is to help you create “The Best Hour of your Day”. Unequivocally the classiest name in “CrossFit”…and probably the best workout in San Diego.Īt Stay Classy, we strive to be affordable, accessible & approachable for newcomers, seasoned athletes & everyone in between. We are a space, we are social, we are movers, we are relentless, we stay connected, and we are quality to life. Located in the heart of San Diego, California – Stay Classy is a vibe that thrives through its community of athletes and is driven by challenging our perceptions and practices of well-being. We’ve been impressed with Stay Classy CrossFit, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?Īt Stay Classy CrossFit, we put the fun in functional fitness. However, we’ve also struggled with unforeseen building closures where we’ve had to move locations within 24 hours and have landed quickly and efficiently to keep our members and business intact. With Covid, we survived by loaning out all our equipment, going online and creating a virtual community to get through Covid. If there’s one thing we’ve learned to do well, it is pivot – with locations and with business models. Without a doubt, the most difficult time has been this past year dealing with Covid and gym closures. Our facility has moved locations over seven times but our community has always followed. In 2019, I competed in the CrossFit Open and finished in the top 200 worldwide in my age group of 55-59.Īlright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome? Stay Classy CrossFit has been in business for eight years, moved seven times but has always been tied and located to the Barrio Logan community. Having been an active member for several years, I had the opportunity to build a rapport with the then current owner, Lee Razalan, which then lend to an investment and partnership to further grow the business. It was then I found CrossFit or more specifically Stay Classy CrossFit. It was the polar opposite of what I had been doing. It wasn’t until I was in my last role at Jack in the Box when I realized that I needed to follow my passion of fitness, health and nutrition. From Domino’s Pizza in Ann Arbor, MI, then to Burger King in Miami and finally to Jack in the Box here in San Diego, I led the teams responsible for developing new menu items. Until recently, I spent the last 30+ years of my career in the corporate world of quick service restaurants aka fast food. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today? Hi Jeff, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeff Zwally.
